The adjacent flower plot shows the relative importance of each potential driver of ecological drought impacts, based on our analysis. Each flower petal represents a potential driver, and the length of the petal indicates the relative importance of that driver in explaining drought-related impacts to forests, (longer petals = more important). Hover over a petal to see the name of that driver. When the “Map” tab is selected above, clicking on a petal will show a map of that driver variable in this space. Click on the yellow center of the flower to return to the map of ecological impacts to forests during the 2000-2005 drought. When on the “Importance plot” tab, this pane will show that HUC’s response to drought at different levels of the potential driver.
